I found this unique piece in Seaham this summer. It is a type of sea glass known as a multi (due to have two or more colours in the one piece of glass), which are totally unique to Seaham and very rare – especially one of this size!

The chain and bail are made from sterling silver, meaning they are hypoallergenic and will last much longer than silver plated items.
